Studds Marshall Open Face Helmet Review

Studds Marshall Open Face Helmet is available in unicolor options. The helmet comes with removable and replaceable liners. The helmet has spare visors which are available in clear, smoke tint, mirror and rainbow options. High quality UV resistant Polyurethene paints used for aesthetic enhancement.

Outer Shell

Strong and sturdy outer shell made from special high impact grade of engineering thermoplastic. Therefore it is strong enough to hold any impact and protect your head in case of an accident.

Inner Padding & Outer Material

Regulated density EPS concussion (concussion means A brain injury caused by a blow to the head or a violent shaking of the head and body.) padding lined with velveteen, which means that it reduces the risk of concussion. You can easily remove the padding and keep it back inside after washing/cleaning.

The interior fabric is made of Anti-allergic velveteen which is a great option from Studds. (Velveteen or velvet) is a cloth made which is like an imitation of velvet to give a comfortable ride to the motorcyclist.

Studds Marshall Helmet Review 2017

Visor and Air Ventilation

The helmet has an optically true injected poly carbonate visor to protect the eyes, such as shading themfrom the sun or other bright light or protecting them from objects). The duly silicon hard coating provides scratch resistance to the visor.

Its a major let down by Studds in terms of the weight. The Studds Marshall helmet is weighed at 1.6 kgs which is not considered light weight by any means. This means that you should not wear this helmet on long rides, mountains or bumpy roads otherwise you might experience neck pains and shoulder pains if yo wear it on long rides.

This Helmet is the best one for the guys who wear specs, and it doesn’t hurt while removing the helmet. In most other helmets you have to remove spectacles first before removing the helmet but that’s not the case with , where it won’t hurt while removing your helmet, otherwise with other helmet we have to remove opticals first and then we have to remove helmet, which is not the case with Studds Marshall.

Should you buy the Studds Marshall Helmet?

If you are a riding a trendy bike like KTM, Karizma, Pulsar then definitely it adds to your personality. At the same time the helmet is not a lightweight helmet and not recommended on long rides. But yes you can wear this helmet during your short rides within the city from your home to office/college and definitely to your girlfriend’s home.
